Had a great experience with Coach Matt this spring. He ran fun but intense practices and has a great manner when dealing with the kids. He did an outstanding job with communication and is just all around a good guy and a great role model for the kids.

I have two children, ages 5½ and 7, who were enrolled in the spring basketball camp with ASA Hoops. In a short period of time, I saw noticeable improvement in both of their dribbling and shooting skills. More importantly, they were genuinely having fun. I can’t thank the coaches enough for the positive experience they created. This has been, by far, one of the best camps my kids have attended, and most importantly, it has motivated them to continue developing their basketball skills. As a parent, I would highly recommend ASA Hoops.

My son loved the ASA Camp during February break. Coach Matt and the team created a fun and positive environment, while also focusing on the fundamentals of the game. Just signed up for Summer Camp and can’t wait for another week with the crew.

My daughter (10) and son (8) have attended numerous ASA basketball clinics over the past two years and have had positive experiences every time. The coaches create a fun and supportive environment for players of various ages and skill levels. My son started playing in their Winter League this season and has shown improvement each week. I also appreciate that the organization is well-run. The staff is proactive and responsive when communicating with parents, and their website is kept up-to-date with information on all of their offerings.

5 stars from BOTH me and my kids! My son (6th grade) and my daughter (4th grade) have both been attending Newton ASA basketball clinics and camps for over two years now. Whenever there is a school holiday or an empty week in the summer, my kids look forward to seeing the ASA coaches that they have come to know and love. These coaches are truly what it means to be a coach: they fully understand the game of basketball, how to teach it and it’s clear that they care for the players. I know my kids would not have the confidence or the love for the game without being perfectly challenged and encouraged. If your child wants to be a better player, this is definitely the place for them. I’ll never forget when my son was new to the game and came home with a “camper of the day” award. It meant the world to him that the coaches recognized his hard work and he’s been dribbling ever since!

ASA has been a great program for our son. His basketball IQ has grown over the years with holiday clinics and tournaments. Thank you Coach Moses, and your coaching staff, for all you have done to provide a positive experience for our local community.

Great experience working with Coach Moses and his team over the last few years! They take their clinics seriously, and do a great job teaching the boys basketball skills - along with life lessons.

Coach Moses has been absolutely incredible with our son’s basketball development! From where he started to where he is today is night & day. Not only that, Coach Moses emphasizes important life skills like respect, listening and teamwork. I cannot recommend this program enough & we look forward to many more camps/progams in the future! 🏀

I can’t say enough positive things about ASA Hoops. Coach Moses has a rare ability to command the respect and attention of young energetic kids who tend to goof off and lose focus quickly. His program teaches the fundamentals of basketball, but more broadly prepares children to be devoted athletes and supportive teammates. We will continue to sign up for any clinics that ASA offers in our area.

My Sons ages 13 and 15 attended ASA camp during the summer for a week, and had an amazing experience!! The camp was professional, the coaches were excellent and truly helped them further develop thier basketball skills. I would highly recommend thier summer camps or school clinics, my kids have an attended a variety of their programs over the past 8 years and we’ve always been so happy!!!

I’ve been super happy with the experience my son has had with everyone at ASA Newton. The program and coach provides support and guidance on technical skills and team dynamics to create positive team experiences and really improve the players individually. Plus, as a busy parent juggling other sport commitments and sibling teams, ASA has provided the flexibility to accommodate our needs. I really appreciate this! My son is working diligently to improve his game, and I know much of his progress is due to Coach Moses’ patience and expertise as his coach. It’s awesome to watch my son develop as a player and a person in this program. Highly recommend!
