ASA 5th Select Matt capped off an outstanding season with a statement weekend, dominating the ZG Battle of the Belt and finishing 4–0 to take home the championship. The team showed poise, teamwork, and heart every step of the way.

They opened the weekend with a solid 29–20 win over TNE Academy, setting the tone for what was to come. In Game 2, they continued their momentum, defeating Rivals Elite 33–27 behind strong defensive pressure. Game 3 saw one of their most complete performances of the tournament with a 35–17 win over The BASE. Then came the finale — a thrilling matchup against Middlesex Magic that went down to the wire. With under a minute left, ASA hit the go-ahead basket and held firm for a dramatic 48–47 victory.

This team didn’t just win the Battle of the Belt — they dominated the 5th Grade Division 1 all season, going undefeated against their peers and dropping only two games all year while playing up in the 6th Grade division. Their hard work, chemistry, and competitive spirit continue to set the standard for ASA basketball.
