Summer is when players make their biggest jump, and ASA Hoops is ready to help your son or daughter take that next step. With a deep lineup of day and Nike Basketball Camps across New England, ASA offers a fun, highly organized environment where players build skills, confidence, and a real love for the game.

Why ASA Hoops Camps Stand Out

ASA Hoops has been growing the game for nearly three decades, running year-round clinics, classes, camps, and AAU for boys and girls ages 7–18. In 2025 alone, more than 6,000 participants joined ASA programs, making ASA one of the largest and most trusted basketball operations in New England.

The heart of that success is the coaching staff. The ASA Hoops staff is made up of experienced, credentialed coaches who are trained and registered to provide high-quality instruction in a safe, positive environment. You can meet many of these coaches and see where they work each summer on the ASA Hoops staff page hosted by Nike Sports Camps:

Elite Coaching at Top Facilities

ASA Hoops partners with Nike Basketball Camps to bring top-notch coaching to some of the best gyms and campuses in the region, including Winsor School, Curry College, Clark University, Milton Academy, Brown Middle School, Bancroft School, Charles River School, and more. These facilities offer multiple baskets, full courts, and the space needed for stations, small-sided games, and full-court scrimmages—all under one roof.

At camps like the Nike Basketball Camp at Winsor School, players train from 8:30am–2:00pm in “Complete Skills” sessions designed to sharpen fundamentals, shooting, footwork, defense, and overall basketball IQ. Daily schedules mix teaching, drills, contests, and controlled scrimmages so campers learn, compete, and have fun every day.

Programs for Every Age and Level

ASA and Nike summer camps are designed for a wide range of ages and abilities, typically serving boys and girls from about 6–17 years old. Whether a player is lacing up for the first time or preparing for school or AAU tryouts, they’ll be grouped by age and skill and challenged at the right level.

Across the summer, families can choose from full-day and residential options, along with specialty weeks focused on shooting, scoring, team concepts, or “complete skills” development. In places like Newton and Boston, ASA runs multiple weeks so players can attend one session or stack several weeks for maximum growth.

What Players Gain at ASA Camps

ASA’s philosophy balances instruction, competition, and fun. Camps emphasize:

  • Strong fundamentals: ball-handling, passing, shooting form, finishing, and footwork

  • Game understanding: spacing, off-ball movement, team defense, and decision-making

  • Character and confidence: work ethic, sportsmanship, and playing the right way

Campers receive ongoing feedback and often end each week with evaluations and recognition like “Camper of the Day,” reinforcing effort and improvement. Many players return year after year, building relationships with coaches who know their game and how to push them forward.

With experienced coaches, proven teaching, and convenient gyms across New England, ASA Hoops remains a premier choice for families looking for serious skill development and serious fun all summer long.
